# Create and manage boards

> Organize feedback into boards and control how they appear in Project Echo.

Boards help you group related feedback—for example Features and Bugs—so your team and customers can find the right place to submit and review requests.

## Open board settings

1. Sign in at [app.projectecho.io](https://app.projectecho.io).
2. Go to **Settings → Feedback**.
3. Open the **Boards** tab.

New workspaces start with **Features** and **Bugs**. You can rename, reorder, recolor, or replace these to match how your product team works.

## Create a board

1. On the **Boards** tab, select **+**.
2. Enter a clear name (for example “Integrations” or “Onboarding”).
3. Choose a color with the swatch picker or a hex value.
4. Save the board.

Use short, customer-friendly names if the board will appear on your public portal.

## Reorder, edit, or delete

* **Reorder:** Drag boards to set the order your team sees in the app.
* **Edit:** Open **Edit board** to change the name or color.
* **Delete:** Use **Delete board** when a board is no longer needed. Move or reassign requests first if you still need that feedback.

## Portal visibility

Creating a board does not automatically decide what customers see. Under **Settings → Feedback portal → Visibility**, use **Boards to show** to choose whether each board appears on Feedback, Roadmap, both, or is Hidden.

## Tips

* Keep a small set of boards so triage stays simple.
* Align board names with how customers talk about your product.
* Review portal visibility whenever you add or retire a board.
