# Keyboard shortcuts

> Keyboard shortcuts in the Project Echo staff app for Windows and Mac, including create, search, navigation, and comments.

Use keyboard shortcuts in the staff app to move faster. Single-letter shortcuts (such as **C**, **J**, **K**, and **?**) are ignored while you are typing in a field.

Press **?** anywhere in the workspace (when you are not typing) to open the in-app shortcuts cheat sheet.

## Windows

* **Open Create Request** — `C`
* **Submit Create Request** — `Ctrl+Enter`
* **Search** — `Ctrl+K`
* **Previous request** — `↑` or `K`
* **Next request** — `↓` or `J`
* **Post comment or note** — `Ctrl+Enter`
* **Shortcuts help** — `?`

## Mac

* **Open Create Request** — `C`
* **Submit Create Request** — `⌘+Enter`
* **Search** — `⌘+K`
* **Previous request** — `↑` or `K`
* **Next request** — `↓` or `J`
* **Post comment or note** — `⌘+Enter`
* **Shortcuts help** — `?`

## Notes

* **Previous / next request** work on the request detail page when you opened it from the Requests list or Roadmap (so the up/down navigation controls are available).
* **Submit Create Request** applies when the New Request dialog is open and the title is filled in.
* **Post comment or note** applies when the comment composer on a request is focused.
