# How to add links to comments

> Insert clickable links in request comments using the slash insert menu.

You can add **clickable links** in **comments** or **internal notes** on a request.

## Where to write a comment

1. Open the request
2. Go to the **Comments** tab
3. Use the comment box (or reply under a comment)

On the feedback portal, use the request comment field if commenting is allowed.

## Add a link

1. Click in the comment field where you want the link
2. Type `/` to open the insert menu
3. Choose **Link**
4. When prompted, enter the **URL** (include `https://` when possible)
5. When prompted, enter the **link text** (or keep the suggested text)
6. Confirm — the linked text appears in the comment
7. Click **Comment** (or **Note**) to post

## Tips

* Prefer full URLs starting with `https://`
* Links in **internal notes** are only visible to your team
* You can combine links with lists, images, and other insert-menu items
