# Assign owners and organize with boards and statuses

> Use owners, boards, and statuses to triage requests and keep feedback organized.

Boards, statuses, and owners help your team triage feedback without losing context.

## Boards

Boards group related feedback—for example **Features** and **Bugs** (created by default). You can add more boards under Settings → Feedback.

Assign a board when you create a request, or change it anytime from the request meta panel.

## Statuses

Statuses show where a request sits in your process. Default statuses include:

* Pending
* Reviewing
* Planned
* In Progress
* Completed
* Closed

Update status from the request detail page or with bulk actions on the requests list. Statuses can also control what appears on the portal roadmap and related surfaces—configure visibility in Settings.

## Owners

An **owner** is the person accountable for the request. Assign an owner from the request meta panel.

Owners help when you:

* Filter the requests list by **Assigned To**
* Group the list by **Owner**
* Share clear ownership in triage meetings

## Suggested triage flow

1. New feedback lands in a board (or is filed there by staff)
2. Move it from **Pending** / **Reviewing** as you evaluate it
3. Assign an **owner** when someone is responsible for next steps
4. Move to **Planned** or **In Progress** when work is committed
5. Mark **Completed** or **Closed** when you’re done

Keeping board, status, and owner current makes filters, roadmap views, and customer updates much clearer.
