# Bulk actions on requests

> Update status, priority, effort, or owner for many requests at once—or delete them in bulk.

When several requests need the same update, use bulk actions instead of editing them one by one.

## How to run a bulk action

1. Open **Requests** in the staff app
2. Select multiple requests in the list
3. Use the bulk actions bar that appears (it shows how many are selected)
4. Choose the change you want to apply
5. Confirm if prompted

## What you can change in bulk

* **Status**
* **Priority**
* **Effort**
* **Owner**
* **Delete**

## Good uses

* Move a batch of reviewed ideas to **Planned**
* Assign one owner after a triage meeting
* Set priority across related requests before roadmap planning
* Clean up duplicates or spam with delete (use carefully)

## Tips

* Filter or search first so you only select the right set
* Double-check the selection count before deleting
* After a bulk status change, refresh your filters if items disappear from the default active list (Completed and Closed are often hidden)

If a bulk update doesn’t look right, open a single request detail page to verify, or contact [support@projectecho.io](mailto:support@projectecho.io).
