You can install Project Echo as a reusable agent skill. The skill gives your agent a versioned workflow guide for operating Project Echo safely—instead of relying on ad hoc prompting. Pair it with MCP so the agent can both understand the workflows and execute them.

After installing, restart your AI tool if it does not pick up the new skill immediately.

What the skill covers

The project-echo-product-manager skill helps your agent:
  • Connect the right MCP tools and API permissions
  • Analyze and triage feedback requests
  • Create requests and internal notes
  • Draft customer-friendly changelog entries (TipTap JSON, not Markdown)
  • Link completed requests to changelog drafts
  • Stay within safe limits (drafts only—humans publish in the web app)

Why use a skill

Without a skill, your agent has to infer Project Echo workflows from scratch each time. With a skill, you give it:
  • Stable MCP tool guidance and permission expectations
  • Use-case driven checklists (weekly changelog, triage, create request)
  • Explicit rules for TipTap bodies and draft-only publishing
  • A versioned source of truth you can update as Project Echo evolves

Before you install

  1. Create an API key under API & MCP (recommend the Contributor preset).
  2. Configure MCP with your key id and token — see Connect MCP.
  3. Install the skill with the command above.
