Linear: push requests to Linear issues

The Linear integration lets your team push a Project Echo request into Linear as an issue. This is a one-way push from Echo to Linear—not a two-way sync.

Connect Linear

1. Open Integrations in the Workspace nav.
2. Select Linear, then Connect Linear.
3. Approve Project Echo in Linear.
4. Choose a default team (required before you can push).

Issues are created as the Project Echo app in your Linear workspace.

Push a request to Linear

1. Open a request in the staff app.
2. Open the request menu (⋯).
3. Choose Push to Linear.

The new Linear issue includes:

• Title and description from the Echo request
• Priority when set on the request
• A footer with the Echo request id and portal URL (when available)

Important limitations (current version)

• Push creates an issue; it does not keep status, comments, or assignees in sync afterward.
• Pushing again may create a duplicate issue—there is no stored “View in Linear” link yet.
• One Linear connection and one default team per Echo workspace.

Disconnect

Disconnect from Integrations → Linear. After disconnect, Push to Linear is hidden until you reconnect and pick a default team again.

When to use webhooks instead
