The roadmap turns requests into a living plan. Your team works the board in the app; customers can see a curated view on the portal when you enable the Roadmap tab.

Open the staff roadmap

  1. Sign in at app.projectecho.io.
  2. Select Roadmap in the sidebar.
Columns match your request statuses. Cards are requests you can drag between columns to update status, or reorder within a column.

Build the plan

  1. Triage Pending and Reviewing items from Requests or the roadmap.
  2. Move accepted work to Planned.
  3. Drag items to In Progress when work starts.
  4. Move finished work to Completed (and link it to a changelog entry when you announce it).
Use filters (boards, statuses, teammates, priority, effort, and more) to focus on one slice of the backlog at a time.

Share with customers

  1. Go to Settings → Feedback portal → Visibility.
  2. Enable Show the roadmap tab.
  3. Set Boards to show and Statuses to show so only customer-ready columns appear (for example hide Closed).
Customers open https://YOURSUBDOMAIN.projectecho.io and select the Roadmap tab (the label is editable under Design).

Habits for a trustworthy roadmap

  • Update statuses when reality changes—stale “Planned” items erode trust.
  • Prefer fewer visible columns with clear names.
  • Pair roadmap updates with changelog posts when you ship.
