You can add images to a request description when creating or editing a request. Images appear on the request detail page (and on the portal detail view when the request is public).

Where to edit the description

  • New request: open New Request and use the Add details field
  • Existing request: open the request, then edit the description (pencil / double-click)

Add an image with the insert menu

  1. Click in the description field so the cursor is where you want the image
  2. Type / to open the insert menu
  3. Choose Image
  4. Click the upload area (or drop a file onto it)
  5. Pick a PNG, JPG, GIF, or WebP image (max 10 MB)
  6. Wait for the upload to finish — the image appears in the description
  7. Save the request (or finish editing the description)

Paste an image or screenshot

  1. Copy an image, or take a screenshot to the clipboard (for example Win+Shift+S on Windows or Cmd+Shift+4 on Mac)
  2. Click in the description field
  3. Paste with Ctrl+V (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+V (Mac)
  4. Wait for the upload to finish, then save

Drag and drop

  1. Click in the description field
  2. Drag an image file onto the editor
  3. Wait for the upload to finish, then save

Tips

  • Supported types: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP
  • Maximum size: 10 MB per image
  • You can add more than one image
  • Portal list cards show plain text only; images show on the request detail page
