How to add YouTube videos to comments - Project Echo

You can embed a YouTube video in a comment or internal note on a request.

Where to write a comment

Open the request
Go to the Comments tab
Use the comment box (or a reply under an existing comment)

On the feedback portal, open the request and use the comment field if commenting is enabled.

Add a YouTube video

Click in the comment field where you want the video
Type / to open the insert menu
Choose YouTube
When prompted, paste a YouTube URL or video ID, for example:
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID
- https://youtu.be/VIDEO_ID
- or just the 11-character video ID
Confirm — the video embed appears in the comment
Click Comment (or Note for an internal note) to post

Tips

Prefer a full YouTube watch or youtu.be link
If the embed has no video, delete it and insert YouTube again
Videos in internal notes are staff-only
