Invite teammates so product, support, and engineering can triage requests together in the staff app.

Team vs members

Project Echo uses two people concepts:
  • Team — your internal staff who work in the staff app (Settings → Team)
  • Members — portal end users (customers) listed under Members
This article is about inviting your team.

Invite from Settings

  1. Open your workspace in app.projectecho.io
  2. Go to Settings → Team
  3. Enter the teammate’s email address and send the invite
  4. They receive an email with a link to join
Pending invites show as sent (or expired). You can cancel an invite if needed.

Invite during onboarding

When you create a workspace, the last onboarding step lets you invite teammates right away. You can skip that step and invite later from Settings.

What happens when someone accepts

  1. They open the invite link
  2. They sign up or log in (email may be locked to the invite)
  3. They join your workspace and can access the staff app
New teammates may complete a short profile step before they start working.

Tips

  • Invite the people who will triage feedback, update roadmap items, and publish changelog entries
  • Billing admins can manage teammates in Settings → Team
  • Don’t confuse team invites with creating portal Members—members are your customers, not staff
